A golfer's club impacts the ball with a great moment of force. With conventional grips, the impact can often cause the grip to shift in a golfer's hand. The lack of traction on conventional grips essentially creates inconsistent shots even when the same golf swing is applied.
This is where IOMIC's innovative grip technology can aid the golfer.
Unique Material, not made of rubber
IOMIC grip's quality and performance is the result of using a specially formulated material called "ELASTOMER"
It makes IOIMC grips highly water proofed and very durable.
IOMIC grips are made using High Pressure Injection Moldingto achieve its superb quality.
Using this method, we are able to achieve a truly consistent grip. The weight on each grip has a differential of +/- 2 grams. The method used to produce conventional rubber grips have a 5 to 8 gram margin of error.
1. What material IOMIC Grips are made of?
IOMIC Grips are not made out of ordinary rubber. They are manufactured from Specially Formulated Elastomer Compound especially for IOMIC Grips, called “IOMAX”
2. How can I clean IOMIC Grips?
IOMIC Grips are very easy to clean. You can clean with warm water and ordinary dish soap. For tough stains, you can use acetone.
3. Can I use solvent for IOMIC Grips?
Yes, you can use solvent or mineral spirits when installing the grips.
4. Can I remove end cap to switch other color of end cap?
No, you cannot remove the end cap. It will damage the grips.
5. What should I do when the Grip gets wet?
IOMIC Grips are non-porous and completely water proof. So, it will give you the best performance under any weather conditions. Just wipe the grip down when it gets wet. Your grip will feel dry again.
6. How long do IOMIC Grips last?
It varies depending on how often you play. However, IOMIC grips are UV resistant – they wont discolor in the sun. And because they are made from Elastomer, not rubber, they last about twice as long as you would wear out a conventional grip.
7. What types of tape can I use for build up and how many rounds can I go?
You can use double sided grip tape to install the grip. We recommend the maximum of 2 wraps for the X-Grip and the Sticky Grip and up to 4 wraps for X-Evolution Grip.
8. Which is the best grip style I should pick?
It depends on what you are looking for. The X-Grip is equivalent to an “American standard size” grip. The X-Evolution is considered a midsize grip, and the Sticky is a light-weight grip and is slightly larger than an undersize or ladies grip, yet smaller than a standard size.
The NEW Sticky 2.3 is a standard size grip.
9. IOMIC Grips are USGA Approval?
Yes. All our grips sold in the US are USGA Approved.
