Artist Info: This gorgeous detailed Wedding Vase was created by Santana Phillips(Eagle & Parrot Clans). She was born on 1/11/1950 and was taught her craft by her mother Juana Phillips. She specializes in traditional Acoma Pottery and her favorite design is the Starburst. She has been hard at work for 50 years.
Description: Talk about eye catching! This small Wedding Vase with a rust braided handle is painted with two Lizards. The front and back of the Wedding Vase are painted in black and white Fine Line starburst design. The sides are painted in Fine Line, floral and geometric patterns in rust, black and white. To the Native Americans the lizard represents good luck, agility and good at conversation. The workmanship is fabulous don't let this exquisite work pass you by!!. Santana pays a lot of attention to intricate detail work, making her pieces extremely desirable and collectible.
