The tag and lable are missing off this cabinet so it is really hard to say what the brand of it is for sure, but it has hinges like a Napanee on it.
FROM THE EARLY 1900'S
THESE ARE GETTING VERY HARD TO FIND!
I have had this cabinet since 1993 in storage. I have about 50-80 cabinets left and tons of parts & orig. spice jars. I'm going to start selling my cabinets and parts as I get the stuff dug out.
I have refinished cabinets almost all of my life and have a large stash! I helped write a book "Indiana Cabinet's" on them. I have sold these at shows, antique malls, and hand picked/restored for buyers.
I have been into these for a very long time.
The Hoosier "style" Cabinets require a lot of time and work to make them a nice pc. of furinture.
Most restores just hack them up and they look like it when they call them done. This is not a 1 weekend project. Buy a Hoosier Cabinet and it will test all your skills and eat up a lot of your time. Get it right and it is worth every minute & dollar.
It is about
67 3/4" tall
Top is- 39 1/4" wide x 11 1/4" deep
Base is- 42" wide with top
28" deep with top
25" deep w/o top
39" wide w/o top
The flour bin is still in the cabinet.
It has glass top doors.
The work surface top had flooring on it.
The bread drawer is missing.
The back leg has rot on it. needs work.
See the pictures and ask questions thanks.
I have other photos if you want to see more just ask.
IF YOU HAVE QUESTION JUST ASK OR SEND ME YOUR PHONE # AND I'LL BE GLAD TO GIVE YOU A CALL.
You will need to pick this up at my house and you may pay for it at that time.
If it will be awhile before you can come and get it, I will hold it for a little while. but it must be paid for in full.
I ALSO SELL PARTS
HARD TO FIND PARTS!
I have restored Hoosier cabinets (and all the other brands also). I was restoring cabinets before all the hardware companys had all the replacement repo parts they do now. When I need a part I had to find another cabinet a donor if you will, and strip out the items I need to fix the one up I was working on.
Well as you can figure I have a ton of old original Hoosier hardware in storage. Now all I have to do is figure out what I want to sell and what I need to keep. I have about 90 old cabinets in storage and sure don't want to sell a part I might need!
So as I figure it out I'll be listing more. Thanks for your time.
