I recently bought this book, and have been very pleased with it. I love the nice, individual pictures of the ponies. Birge's book is very nice too, but she had some pictures of ponies grouped together and taken from the top or backside of the ponies which makes it hard to see the symbols, hair, etc. So the individual pictures in this book are very helpful to identify which pony you have that you dont know the name. I also like the sticker pictures, the individual items, etc. That makes it nice to mark in the little boxes which ones and items you have. I would of liked to see more pictures of pony items like Debra Birge has in her books. But even if you have those books, this one is different enough and has more pictures to be a must-have for collectors! I have been very pleased! Book a little expensive, but I got mine at a discount that put it around the same price I had paid for the other (Birges) books.Read full review
Finally! A hand-held guide that won't cost you a fortune in printer paper! Excellent book! A must have for collectors! Contains valuable guides in order of the years they were released and what set they came from. Thy ONLY thing that is off is the value of the ponies but since these change yearly (sometimes monthly even) this can easily be overlooked. Summer Hayes has an outstanding collection that she shows in beautiful photos throughout this book. I am very happy to have purchased this book and urge other collectors to do the same, you won't be sorry.
I would definately recommend this little guidebook to any collectors of Hasbro's My Little Pony Series. It gives factual information on the variety of pony's and realistic prices on them,also. Included are the many accessories that were sold for the G1 series. The photos are informative, too. Happy Pony Collecting! J. G. Till
