Moorcroft Ealry Burslem Large Pomegranate Vase Marked Full Signature C.1916

This wonderful, large Pomegranate vase from Moorcroft Pottery has recently made its way to our store, and has turned heads since its arrival. The glaze is quite glossy, giving the piece an incredible sheen. The body of the piece features pomegranates and berries in a border around the widest point. They sit on a deep navy base that appears lighter right around the rim.

The piece is in good estate condition. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. There is some crazing to both the bottom and the sides. While there is not discoloration to the pottery itself, the crazing has resulted in some deterioration to the original shiny glaze. We have been careful to include photos that detail this issue.

The bottom of the vase is marked with William Moorcroft's full signature in green, and is additionally impressed with Moorcroft Burslem England. The vase measures 10 1/2" in height and is 4" in diameter across the mouth. The diameter of the base measures 4" as well.

WE DO NOT CHARGE EXTRA FOR LABOR, HANDLING OR MATERIALS COSTS. However, we do take extreme extra care when packing, and china, glass and fragile items are wrapped in extensive bubble wrap, peanuts, many times double-boxed, etc. This adds to the weight and dimensions of the final shipment, but our buyers are happy because their items arrived safely! We are open during the weekend, so local pickup is always an option.

We do not ship large furniture items, but we are more than happy to work with your preferred freight carrier. We can recommend several freight companies that have good results. Our warehouse has a full loading dock, freight elevators, etc, so freight pickup is no problem.
