This Ajna I is one of the best horns Dave Monette has made. Upon delivery, he commented on how great the valves are, the gold-plating being one of the better he's seen, and said himself it is one of his best. She is in pristine, like-new condition, sounds awesome and plays great! So, why am I letting her go? I've been playing on a Monette LTJ for the past 4 years and not the Ajna I. She deserves to be out there being played. Personally, I'm going through a big life change and long story short, I could use the funds to help me on this new journey.
On this Ajna I, I recorded my debut record Token Tales (produced by GRAMMY-award winning producer Jason Olaine), played the JVC Newport Jazz Festival, the Blue Note (NY), Birdland (NY), with Branford Marsalis at a Festival in SC, et al. Not only does she sound great as a jazz horn, but on the classical side, goodness, she just sings and rings out amazingly.
You can check her out in numerous videos and pictures:

She also includes:
1) 3 heavy weight mouthpieces made for the Ajna I (Prana B2GS3 10, Prana B2 88, Prana B2 FL 88)
2) Monette mouthpiece case(s)
3) a package of felts for the valves, rubber o-rings, valve oil, slide grease and stretchy string
4) the custom built trumpet case
5) Additionally, she comes with gorgeous custom finger-button inlays
*These 5 items alone cost over $2K.
As I mentioned above, she really is in like-new condition. Yes, there are subtle marks from mutes and from normal use, but no dings, bumps, etc. The case does show marks from being used, but otherwise is sturdy, zipper works great, and is a very protective, solid case.
