ALL IT'S CAULKED UP TO BE
This is a heavy duty product and amazing for many applications. It won't replace the handheld version for some applications,though it does things beyond the classic caulk gun. The steady bead of caulk at low setting is amazing, it's ability to fill large gaps is outstanding. It's not lightweight by any measure, it's very heavy but the motor is a benefit. It takes a little practice but once you got it down the results and applications speak for themselves. The anti-drip function saves you a mess and money without wasting material. Since I'm using Marine Caulk at $15 Bucks a tube overflow isn't cost effective. This thing will save you money in the long run, it's not inexpensive. On a single XC battery charge you can work for days without a recharge. The only aspect of the design that I don't like is you can't stand the thing up with a full tube of material. The gun should have a fold down kickstand at the end the double as a tube puncture device. Perhaps I'll need to devise my own kickstand, I believe it's intended to be hung from a ladder or hook between use. That aside it's a great tool in the right hands, it's quality and should last decades. Read full review

This Milwaukee M18 caulk gun is a good quality tool with an easy to use feed speed setting, rotating tube holder, and a cool reverse feature that activates automatically at the end of each trigger pull to minimize post oozing. The only drawback is the price. It is definitely a luxury tool at $200+, but a must for those that do a lot of caulking, those with arthritis, or those missing a cool tool and have spare $.

2 features which makes a great caulk gun is a 1) a lock button( accidental trigger is avoided) 2) A release button that stops instantly the flow (no mess) the piston will actually retract a little once you stop pulling the trigger. works every time.
