Up for auction is a wonderful example
of Graziella Laffi's artistic creations! Known as "The Spratling of Peru" she was born in Floretine, Italy and moved to Lima Peru in 1950 where she began her work. Known for her modernist and Pre-Columbian forms. Believe to be a rare piece crafted in the 1950's of sterling and a mottled enamel in a iconic Inca or Pre-Columbian form of a monkey. Hallmarks: Peru, Laffi, .925 Good vintage condition, however, its rollover locking clasp is missing and needs replacement.
