We have Three Types of Products for Sale:
1) New Products which have a manufacturer's guarantee.
2) Used and Used/Reconditioned products, which come with a 30-Day BLH Computers Warranty (terms listed below).
3) "As-is" products, which have no warranty or guarantee of any kind (see further description below).
All new products are covered first by the manufacturer's warranty. If such a warranty does not exist then the BLH Computers 30-Day Warranty will apply.
Used and Used/Reconditioned products:
BLH Computers 30-Day Warranty
We offer a 30-Day Warranty on all used or refurbished products that we sell to locations within the USA and that are not listed as being sold "as-is".
Warranty Length: Unless otherwise specified, the warranty period is 30-Days from the shipment date. No warranty is offered to customers outside of the USA.
Coverage: This warranty covers repair, replacement or exchange of product at our discretion. Consumables such as batteries, ink cartridges, ribbons, bulbs, etc. are not covered by this warranty. Any guaranteed product we sell that is not working properly when received by the purchaser will be covered under the terms of our guarantee. The product will be returned to the seller at the purchaser's expense. The product will be tested to determine it's condition. All guaranteed products that are returned for repair or replacement must be returned in the same condition as when we shipped it. The product must have all the components and accessories, all original packages (if it came with retail packaging), and all warranty tags must be intact (we place warranty tags on all products shipped with a warranty). All serial numbers and other identification marks must match those in our records.
Shipping: We only ship to addresses validated by eBay and/or PayPal. We only ship to addresses listed as the address on the account when the item was went through checkout. Please make sure you have the address correct. If you have any issues with addresses message us through eBay PRIOR TO BIDDING. At the point of sale or shortly after the sale is too late. In the transaction notes is unacceptable. Our coverage is only for eBay/PayPal confirmed addresses. We do not ship anywhere outside the US.
On items without a shipping cost, shipping is included in the final price of the sale. SHIPPING IS NOT ACTUALLY FREE. Our refunds cover the cost of the item only and does not include the price of shipping. For example, if the total price says $45.00 no shipping and it costs us $7.00 to ship, the actual price of the item is $38.00. As you will see upon purchase, our shipping costs will be on either the package itself or in the packing slip. These are the exact prices charged by the postal carrier.
The product must be packed as well as when originally shipped to avoid damage in return shipping. Our warranty does not cover damage from return shipping. Damage in shipping is covered by the delivery carrier's insurance.
If the product meets the above specifications and is not working and there are no obvious signs of physical damage the product will be either repaired or replaced as noted above. Purchaser must notify seller within five days after receiving the product of any problem that may require a return.
Products damaged in shipping will be covered under the delivery carrier's insurance. Reimbursement by the carrier will be by their rules and time schedules which we have no control over. Let us know immediately if the package appears that the item has been damaged during shipping. We may ask you to take pictures to verify and assess the possible damage. If the package looks damaged CONTACT US FIRST. We will advise on how to proceed with the package. We handle shipping issues on an individual basis. By purchasing or making an offer you are agreeing not to leave negative feedback or open a case in the event of shipping damage or issues that may occur until two business days after messaging us so we can resolve the issue. This is for both parties benefit as it allows us to come to a positive solution as quickly as possible. Negative feedback and opening cases before contacting us only impede progress for both buyer and seller. We will respond within two business days of receiving a message. Our standard delivery company is USPS. Other carriers may also be used.
Warranty Exceptions: Sometimes the auction description will list specific warranty exceptions. Those items, specifically listed, will not be covered under this warranty. Used equipment is just that, used. Please bear in mind that it will not look like new. The warranty covers the operation of the equipment and not it's cosmetic appearance. Used equipment will often have dust inside of sealed cases (which we do not always open and clean). Equipment or computer cases sometimes have company names or serial numbers etched into the surface. Those were security measures from the previous owners and cannot be removed or repaired. Some equipment will have physical security devices attached that cannot be removed (i.e. metal loops for running a cable through, etc.). If you have questions about these possibilities please ask prior to bidding or prior to having your order shipped.
Products Sold "As Is":
Our standard paragraph in auction listings describing "as is" sales is as follows: This item is being sold "as is", with no warranty. No returns on "as is" items, all sales final. By bidding on this item you agree that you are prepared to deal with unknown repair problems and take full responsibility of handling such problems. Unknown problems on "as is" items may include things unknown to us at the time of listing and would not be described here. Product description is not guaranteed to be accurate on "as is" items as there are too many possible unknown factors.
By bidding on "as is" products you competely understand the above and following paragraphs. "As is" products are not guaranteed to be complete or functional in any way. We do not test or inspect "as is" products. We describe what we do know as accurately as possible, but we guarantee ABSOLUTELY NOTHING on "as is" products. There are NO RETURNS and NO EXCEPTIONS on "as is" products under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
All sales through this auction are final. We do not offer refunds, as this is an auction. Any exceptions to this policy are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Warranty does not cover misuse or mishandling of equipment. Any shortages, missing or damaged products must be reported within five days of receipt of shipment.
All returned equipment must be pre-approved and assigned a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#). Products returned without an RMA number will be returned to the purchaser at purchaser's expense. Purchaser is responsible for all shipping costs on all merchandise returned to us for exchange or warranty repairs. Please allow up to five business days (Monday to Friday, excluding holidays) for our tech team to check out your returned product.
Shipping: Our shipping policies are stated above and is the policy for all products we sell. The policy is in the shipping portion of our Used Products section.
Feedback and Case Policy: By purchasing or making an offer, you are agreeing not to leave negative feedback or open a case before messaging us through eBay and giving us two business days to respond so that we can resolve the issue. Please understand that issues can arise and that we will do what we can to reach an amicable solution as quickly as is possible. We have this policy to protect both us the seller and you as the buyer should any problems arise. Giving both parties open communication and a chance to rectify a problem or situation ensures that both sellers and buyers are more likely to end the sale with a positive outcome. Negative feedback and cases before messaging us will only slow down or end progress toward a desirable conclusion. If after discussion there is no solution that you find agreeable, filing of appropriate feedback is understandable.
We do not cover the following conditions under our guarantee: Purchaser's inability or lack of experience and knowledge to install and/or use the equipment purchased. Purchaser's attempt to use the equipment purchased in some special application that may require new equipment only, in order to meet high levels of tolerance.
Conditions that will VOID your Warranty:
We work very hard to ship products that have been tested to meet the description of the auction listing, but it is sometimes necessary for a product to be returned under warranty. Used products do develop problems and the stress of shipping can often create some of these problems. We understand this and want the opportunity to correct these problems for our customers under the terms of our warranty. Many auction sites offer a feedback system for customers to either praise or voice their complaints with a seller (or vice versa). We only want the opportunity to solve any problems that have arisen before that feedback is filed. If after we have worked to resolve the problem and the customer is still unhappy, then filing of appropriate feedback is understandable. To maintain the opportunity for us to resolve any warranty problems that may come up with a product purchased from us we reserve the right to void any warranty or guarantees of any kind, written, expressed or implied if a negative feedback or complaint type feedback is posted in any public forum prior to us having the opportunity to complete our warranty work and resolve the problem.
