The device, same as the Micro Laser Trigger, working with a battery 9 volt and it uses a high quality microphone and a dual amplifier to detect sound pulses that exceed a certain pressure level like bursting balloons, popping champagne bottles, breaking eggs etc

The power consumption is less than 1m (680 hours of battery life!). The response time is in microseconds.

The instalation is very easy as to plug a battery 9volt and the cable from your flash or remote flash trigger to the device's connector.
