How to choose viola sizes
Our Violas are available in 5 different sizes: 16" (also called full size), 15", 14", 13" and 12". 16" viola is the biggest and 12" viola is the smallest. All adults, regardless of their size, use the 16" viola.
To measure what size viola best suits you, you need to know the length between your neck and the middle of your left-hand palm (when your hand is fully extended and raised perpendicular to your body, just like holding a violin). Most of the teachers prefer students to use the length from the neck to the wrist for measurement instead of the neck to mid-palm approach. The viola size determined by the neck/wrist approach would be the size that is more comfortable for students to hold. The viola size determined by the neck/mid-palm approach would be the biggest size students should use.
The following table lists the length of each viola size. Find your length using your preferred approach and use that to determine the size of viola to get.

Return for Refund: If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return your items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the item price (shipping charges are not refundable). Returned item must be in the original packaging and condition showing no signs of wear or abuse; otherwise the return will either be refused or a 20% restocking fee will be assessed. Please contact us to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#). Any items returned without a RMA# on outside of the shipping box may be refused. We recommend that you use a reliable carrier such as FedEx, UPS or DHL and insure your package when returning your item. KK Music Store is not responsible for shipping damages for returns.
Exchanges: If you have discovered that you purchased an incorrect merchandise, color, size, or simply want to upgrade to another item, please contact us to obtain an Exchange Merchandise Authorization Number (EMA#). You may return the package in its original packaging and condition for exchange within 30 days of receipt. Buyers will be responsible for the return shipping cost as well as the regular shipping and handling cost. Free shipping does not apply to exchange merchandise.
Damage Upon Arrival / Discrepancies: If you have received a damaged or discrepancy package upon arrival, please notify us within 24 hours of receipt and retain all original packaging (including the original corrugated box). We will request digital pictures of the damage/discrepancy item for reference, and arrange FREE replacement after we receive the pictures.

A. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item in its original packaging and condition within 30 days from the day you received the item for a full refund (return shipping charges are not refundable). A. We have a 30 day money back policy. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return for a full refund of the item price (shipping charges are not refundable). A. We carefully pack each and every item with sufficient packing material to ensure its safe arrival. We know how it feels to see your package arrive in pieces. We hate to see that happen as much as you do. But things do happen, and when it does, there’s no need to panic. Call us! We will do whatever necessary to help you take care of it, and a replacement package will be on its way in no time. Just like that!
It is best to refuse an obviously damaged package. If you do receive a package with hidden damages that could not be discovered until you opened the package, call us right away.
