A beautiful manuscript leaf on vellum from a medieval prayer book, written most likely in a French scriptorium around 1460. The decorations, linefillers, and initials are heightened in gold.

Size of the leaf : ca. 6.9" x 4.75"(175 mm x 120 mm).

Condition: As shown, in good condition with the customary evidence of aging and storage: light soiling, edge flaws, original flaws in the vellum, fading of the ink, smudging, etc.

Pictured : Both sides of the leaf for sale.

Please note: We never restore or treat our items with chemicals to enhance their appearance. Therefore, you can be confident that this item will not deteriorate beyond the natural aging process.

Then you would be charged a total of $18 for s & h, and so on.

The following shipping and handling charges are for those countries in the US Postal Service's Price Groups 3-9 (everywhere except Canada and Mexico): Up to 8.0 ounces: $15.00; 8.1 ounces to 16.0 ounces: $18.00; 16.1 ounces to 24.0 ounces: $20.00; Weights greater than 24 ounces, please ask. Shipping and handling rates to Canada would be $12; $13; and $15, respectively. Rates to Mexico would be $14; $17; and $20.

If we mistakenly estimate the weight of your parcel to be greater than it actually is, and its weight is in a lower weight range, we will refund the overpayment.
