Marshall Plexi reissue 1959 WSP, 100 watt Half Stack White

The tubes are electro-harmonix, and the pre-amp tubes say Marshall ECC 83. I tried to take more pictures and couldn't get anything to come out any better, will try again. The condition is very good, but as you can see in the pictures there are some tears on corners of the cabinet and the lower left part of the M in Marshall is broken off,easy to find replacement piece, I never did it, I thought it gave it character. the head has a few small and hard to notice scuffs, one being on the main picture that is tough to see but to the left of the M. The others are very similar to that. There is a little bit of black scuff on the left corner that is faint and hard to notice but wanted to mention it. Cosmetically, the pictures look worse than it actually is, they aren't near as noticable looking at the stack. It's not a GRade A Collectors item, but it still looks GREAT and is a Tone Monster in perfect working order! Warm and sparkling plexi sound and Feel! I bought this head about 9 years ago out of a studio in Maryland. They had made some changes for it to sound more like an original plexi than the stock reissue from Marshall. These changes were done at Cage Amplifiers, check them out at audiocage.com. From looking at it, I can see it has Ruby Gold Caps installed and I'm trying to locate the receipt from the studio to show the upgrades. this is not a modded amp, just upgraded in quality. Wanted to keep this amp forever but economy has me selling it and others. Check out my other listings. I have owned over 25 Marshall heads, and this is in my top 3 favorites of any I have ever had. Only gigged with maybe 5 times, was always scared to take it out to clubs. Was always in cases and very well taken care of and in the exact same shape as when I purchased it. Used a few times in the studio, an excellent recording amp.
