Not only a major collector's item, perhaps the finest piece from Margiela's infamous 74 collection (where items are designed extra-oversized, to suggest a small child wearing their mother's/father's clothing).
I am 6'4" and 200 lbs, and it is very oversized on me too -- but it also served as a phenomenal winter's coat. Wool is thick and ultra-warm, and sleeves' length limits the need for gloves, as your hands will be kept hidden.
Only flaw is a bottom button that has fallen off. There are 2 original replacement buttons in the inner part of the jacket -- and a 3rd replacement button that is partially broken.
Item is in great vintage condition, but likely benefits from a dry cleaning (to iron out the edges of the sleeves, which in the last year were rolled up a little so I could more easily drive in coat.).
I've owned this coat since its release, and have worn it a few times during every year of ownership. This is an item I never ever intended to part with -- it's frankly been my favorite coat for years -- and one of the few coats I own which genuinely seem able of lasting a lifetime... but I owe my wife something nice...
Will include something extra (a small red Margiela wallet, etc) for winner too.
Here are some measurements =
Shoulders = 23
Sleeves = 30
Chest = 62 (31 from pit to pit)
Length = 40
Worn by Chloe Sevigny in the press pics, etc, but a nice oversized piece for almost any size.
