Exactly as found in a barn, antique oak wall telephone. Marked on the metal under the mouthpiece it says Manhattan Elec.Supply Co. New York. Being sold "as is" for restoration. It has a white porcelain type thing on the top, probably for grounding. (not chipped, designed that way) Two batteries in the bottom box. I found a key for the top box and added the last photo after the listing started. This thing is big and heavy. The back board is 30" tall and it weighs over 30 lbs. You will see a small chip on the top of the mouthpiece and a dent in the metal piece close to that on top. Both are in one photo. It has NO receiver. A project but I can see this looking very nice. There are 2 screws sticking out the back. One I will take out for shipping. The other comes out of the top box so I will cut that off with a hack saw. Small chip on the bottom corner of the backboard. Can hardly notice it.(see photo of bottom) I'm not a telephone person but this should be a pretty early one. Hopefully more scarce. Please view all 12 photos you can enlarge and ask questions or for additional photos if need be. This will have oversize shipping charges and it's heavy.
