Creating a future from the past

  About us/About our eggs

WE are located in beautifully Camp, Arkansas.

Our little farm is named Mahanaim (Cool old Bible word that means two camps.

We are homesteaders (A Somewhat self sufficient, self maintaining family farm).

So the money we earn here goes to preserve our little farm and our way of life for ourselves and our children (G-d willing grandchildren).

We have five children, 21,19,16 ,6 and 5, only one is a girl…lol

We home school three of our children.

We are active and supportive members of 4-H .

On our farm we have 300 plus chickens, 250 plus ducks, 30 some geese,

A few hundred hybrid cortunix quails(it’s canning time), 20 or so doves (white and regular),a small flock dear peacocks, 18 turkeys,

more pigeons than I can count without an abacus. A small heard of Nubian and la Mancha Milk goats.

A nice sized herd of Jacob Sheep (Four horns rule, plus they are one of the sheep of the Bible).

A pair of very precious’s pot belly pigs (Athena and Mr. Empty pockets).

Two very spoiled Horses.

A herd of cats and four dogs.

Plus all the wild animals that eat here with them.

Our chickens, ducks and other animals(male and female) roam free during the day at night we put them up to bed with all the love any parent would.

They are blessed and so are we...

Your personal hatch rate will depend on many different things, such as temperature, turnings, humidity and such.

Because of this no one can guarantee a real hatch rate;

But I and my family will do our very best to help you have a good hatch,

and offer you any help you may need, hatching, raising or caring for these birds.

Your eggs will come from very spoiled very loved, well feed, healthy, tame birds.

When we sell you eggs we set the same eggs just to make sure you a getting the best eggs you can get.

We have a full incubator; all of our little darlings look great as we have been candling them every few days.

Only the Freshest eggs will be shipped, I collect them three times daily (most of the time more).

Each Egg will be Bubble wrapped and carefully boxed for safe arrival to you!

Shipping is done though the U.S. Postal Service  Priority Mail.

I can not ship these little loves outside of the US, sorry.

Be Blessed Mahanaim Farm and Ranch

You are bidding on 12 eggs from our lovely Cayugas.

Cayuga Ducks

This is one of the breeds of duck developed in North America their origin is lake Cayuga, in New York State. It is thought to have been breed from the large black ducks that have been coming to the lake since the 1850's. It is a hardy and quiet breed. These ducks are best known for their plumage, which is a brilliant greenish-black. They are quite amazing to see in the sunlight.

These ducks are great for eating and for egg laying, laying 100 or more eggs a year.

Early in the season, Cayuga eggs are usually black or dark gray, fading to light gray or blue over the laying season.

Cayuga egg                                          Here is a chicken egg next to a Cayuga egg to show contrast

This is on e of the oddest Cayuga eggs we have ever gotten...it's lovely!
