It's a bit expensive. It's the best electric knife I've used , but if you use it a lot it will lose power to one blade. Now it's just a manual meat saw. Just like the Black and Decker it has plastic parts inside that wear quickly. Good product ,but an easy fix would make it a great product.

After almost 18 years cleaning thousands of fish, my old Mister Twister finally gave out so of course I had to buy another one. I've tried other brands in the past but none have the power to clean a huge mess of fish like this one. Don't waste your time or money on any other brand. This one is the best!

Having filleted fish with a regular knife I've finally gone electric! I always have problems filleting fish with a regular fillet knife and therefore didn't do it often. But now with the Mr. Twister MT-1201 Electric fillet knife I don't have a problem filleting fish large or small! It took me a couple of fish to get the hang of using the knife but now I can fly through a mess of fish in no time. The knife is easily cleaned with the removable blades and if you have ever use an electric knife in the kitchen, you will be able to use this one. It has a locking trigger guard to prevent little hands turning it on and the blades are easy to install or remove. Now, all I need to do is go catch some fish!

The product itself is a good brand. However even used it worked so-so I noticed that the blade is not Sharp but it managed to cut through the fish with extra pressure applied. The motor smells as though it is burning. Perhaps this is the reason why the person sold it to me to get rid of it so they can get a new one I don't know but so far it still works when plugged in but the blades are very dull. Use condition does not necessarily mean that it's not usable however in this case it seems as it did
