~ MISS DESIREE ~
Presented for your consideration is a single clear cut crystal footed shot glass. Cut into the mouth blown cupola are elongated panels below a wreath of laurel. The clear molded six-sided stem has a gripper node and tapers down to a clear six-sided base.
This full lead (24% PbO) crystal glass is a contemporary German piece produced for Villeroy & Boch AG, Mettlach, Saarland. The pattern is called MISS DESIREE which was introduced in 1999 and is still being made today. This little cordial glass is from the early years. This shape is no longer being made. It is in excellent condition. There are no nicks, dings, chips, scratches nor repairs. It is marked with an etched V & B stamp that defies my camera.
