It is light, firm shaft, easy to hit. For some reason the right side of the fairway is not a problem now.

This is a beautiful club, but I found out it is illegal to play with in events, because it does not conform. I bought it to reshaft it, but this is tricky. Becaus of the threading in the hosel You need a new fitting adapter to change out the shaft. Price was right! I am sending it to one of my grandsons.

I am a 51 year old mid-high handicap golfer with a typical slice when I hit the driver. I recently purchased a used Ping K15 driver (10.5* regular flex shaft) off of eBay and used it at the driving range for the first time yesterday. I have always struggled with a slice and have tried numerous clubs in an attempt to help (I now know lessons are in order). Although I continued to struggle with my slice while using the K15 on the driving range, my slice was not nearly as frequent or as severe as it usually is. When I did hit this club the way it is supposed to be hit, it produced a very straight ball flight. I was actually able to draw some of my drives also, which I have never been able to do before. I do have to get used to playing with a regular flex shaft again as well, since I have been using a stiff flex shaft to help with the slice on my old drivers(I gave up alot of distance with the stiff flex, though). I will continue to work with the Ping K15, as I am sure it will help me in my quest to hit the ball straight. This is a very nice club and should help me in the long run.Read full review
I bought the Ping K15 head and installed a Project X 6.0 graphite shaft to match the Project X shafts on my Titleist AP1 irons. I needed to shim the shaft because the hosel is .350 and the shaft is .335. I have always played Ping drivers and woods, but this one is the best ever. I'd been having trouble hitting straight with my G5 driver lately. Many drives sliced and lost distance and/or put me into trouble. The K15 is weighted to help with slices and it certainly works. For me, it's a stroke saver, but my distance has also increased. With my old driver I had a 250 average drive on straight drives. The K15 has increased my length 20 to 30 yards, but more importantly, a straight and long drive is now the norm. I also like the shaft/head combination. I played the stock stiff Ping TFC 100 shaft in the G5 and liked it, but when I had the opportunity to choose my shaft, I decided to match the Project X iron shafts I like so much. I am very happy with this club and unless you are playing against me, I highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve distance and/or straightness off the tee.Read full review
I was looking for a senior friendly driver and I found in this driver. The distance might not be as good as other drivers but the accuracy is better than most. The height of my ball flight is higher which is what I was looking for also. My Taylor Made R9 driver is longer in distance but the range of missed target landing areas are more pronounced, perhaps becuase it is longer in shaft length. I'm satisfied with the driver even with the less distance which comes along with a shorter shaft. I will stay with it.
