A copper engraved, uncoloured map showing Paderborn and the surrounding region entitled Paderbornensis Episcopatus from the German edition of the Mercator / Jansson ‘Atlas Minor’ published in 1651. This is a detailed map showing settlements and topography and with a small decorative cartouche and scale of miles. The map area is approximately 185mm x 145mm and with the mount included is approximately 305mm x 255mm. The condition is good with light age toning as normal. The map is mounted and backed ready for framing (see photograph).
