Lot of five hundred dark antique bronzetone Bali style style spacer beads in the shape of a 5mm twisted ring.  They are nicely detailed cast metal beads, made out of a zinc based alloy, also sold as "lead-free pewter" or "Tibetan silver".  (The appearance is similar to pewter, but the metal is harder and less malleable than leaded pewter.  Like pewter, this metal is heavy, takes detail well, and is highly resistant to tarnishing.)

The holes are a little less than 2mm in diameter, so they will fit on 1.5mm cord, but will not fit on 2mm cords.

These beads are sold by the manufacturers as lead-free, but I have no way of testing that claim.   I do NOT recommend using metal alloy beads in jewelry for children (or anyone else who may suck, chew, or swallow beads).  In addition to the choking hazard, any metals that might contain trace amounts of lead or cadmium, harmless for adults, should be kept away from young children.
