Three 18th Century Wrought Iron Keys


Small collection of Three individual forged iron keys dating from the late 18th or early/ mid 18th century, circa 1680-1750

 

  These a larger than most examples and were likely used for large scale gate and jail locks, etc. 


Nice simplistic yet elegant forms, each example is unique, all are blacksmith made and show great signs of period construction throughout. 

 

 

Keys measure as shown in inches.
