COMMENTS: Scarce and collectible stereoview card!

 

Stereoviews or stereo cards have two nearly identical images mounted side by side. When looked at through a stereo viewer (stereoscope) they give a three-dimensional image. These were most popular from 1854 to 1938 and were produced in vast quantities, with many of historical interest. They usually measure about 3 ½” by 7”.
