i use the squeezebox touch to go along with my spotify account and also to mine my vast media library. I have over 1Tb of music downloaded as FLAC files which sound great through the SB Touch. It plays anything on my server at the touch of the screen. The internal DAC is also a tremendous upgrade from your computer's DAC, and if you don't currently use a DAC, the SB can fill in nicely until you're ready. I highly recommend this unit if you have a vintage amp like i do - it becomes a de facto remote control. No more walking across the room to change the volume. You can just do it with the intuitive SB remote. If you want convenience and quality, the Squeezebox Touch is for you.

It is superior to many music streamers out there. You don't need to turn on your TV in order to listen to music. Roku and the rest of the many music streamers in the market today require that you turn on your TV and leave your TV on, in order to listen to music. Squeezebox Touch has its own UI and it can be operated from your smartphone. NO TV needed if you only want to listen to music.

It's too bad Logitech is not producing Squeezebox products anymore. I'd love to see what they could make today, because the Squeezebox Touch is still one of the best ways to stream high resolution music. Thankfully, Logitech Media Server is still receiving updates. This product is made even better by the iOS app called iPeng that is a wonderful remote control app. The squeezebox Touch is still a wonderful product, and I hope something even better will be available before it becomes obsolete.

Great sound on my very high end system as per history of these. Also great features beyond anything else similar. But did experience set up issues and frustrations for a few days which one needs to be computer/wi-fi savy for, and have to reinstall Pandora every day or two. Pandora says because their software was developed long after Logitech's hence the interface problems. Surprised that Logitechs Tech Support DID help me, despite being a discontinued item. [I just bought Rega DAC to run Touch through, and later get separate power supply. Both should improve sound even more.]
