This Lint Lizard cleaned out my dryer lint very well. I have the lint trap that is right in front of the open door. I did like someone else suggested and put the Lint Lizard in the dryer for a few minutes to warm it up. This makes it softer and able to get around the curves inside. It cleaned my dryer very well and I have also been using it to clean my heating ducts in my floor registers. I have gotten a lot of sawdust out of the ductwork. I have also used it under appliances to suck up dirt that is otherwise hard to get to. I'm very happy with it and would recommend it.

This goes back awhile...but as I recall, gadget did not fit well, and some kind of adapter provided did not help. It was used in a old Hotpoint dryer. Maybe it' will work in some, but it didn't in ours. Also, think the rubber like material used might have been too hard.

It works, but the clear vinyl tube it came with had a couple of kinks in it that needed to be straightened out with a heat source of some kind, like the sun or a hair dryer and some clothes pins, etc. It didn't quite stay on the end of the Electrolux vacuum I was using it with, but I guess I need to attach a short tube, so the electrical connection doesn't interfere with it... -John

Cannot review product favorably because the packaging causes the tubing to kink. This creates a bend in the hose which does not allow the lint particles to pass thru. The idea is great. If tubing did not have the bend I believe it would function well. Supplied is an adapter that connects the tubing to the vacuum. That connection was good. The problem is known because there is a packaging insert that suggests you unkink using either hot water or a hair dryer. This did not work for me. It might work if there was something to keep the tubing open while heating and then cooling.

The lizard's long tube reaches into the dryer filter space but cannot easily be steered or guided because it's like pushing wet noodle. The tube needs a stiff attachment that would let you guide the vacuum tip. I jury-rigged a solution and was able to clear the filter space. At the other end, the supplied tubes would not hook up well with my floor vacuum (a Dyson) or my Black & Decker portable. But with some tape I was able to jury rig what I needed. Out of the box, the Lint Lizard looks like about $2 worth of plastic and tubing. And I'm being generous. Since I've rigged it to be functional, I'll keep it for future use. But cannot recommend it as a new purchase.
