"Beautiful Linhof System!!" We are selling a Linhof Technika 70 2x3 Large Format Camera w/ 120 Film Back, 3 Beautiful Schneider Lenses, Grip and 3 Cable Release Cords!
This is really a fantastic set-up, tested and works 100%! Over the weekend I shot a roll of 120 Kodak 100UC through the 120 film back and tested all 3 lenses. The photos came out absolutely beautiful! To be honest, I had more fun shooting with this camera than anything else I've ever used! These lenses are clean and sharp... it's pretty amazing how close you can focus some of these, especially the 180mm lens. All speeds are right on! The film I used was an expired (2006) roll of Kodak 100UC which has a warm and slightly retro feel overall but still with plenty of saturation, colors are very nice. I have posted a bunch of scans of the photos from the test roll here in the listing, so check them out! You might notice a few scan lines here and there, but that has nothing to do with quality of the film or the lenses. It's really hard to get this look these days, even with using the film that's currently on the market... it's a pity that they have discontinued this stuff! And just as a bonus, we will include a pro pack of this Kodak Ultra Color 100UC 120 film... that's 5 rolls!!! Expired in 2006 but still looks great and has been discontinued. Cosmetically, this Linhof does show some signs of use here and there but overall looks fantastic with nothing major to mention. There is one minor thing in regards to the right side latch on the rear bellows that when you close the bellows completely you have to push the latch in with your fingers rather than use the leaver to fully click the back into the closed position. It's really not a problem at all, and if you want to fix it so that you can close the back with the leaver rather than your fingers I do not imagine it will be too difficult. Other than that, all of the knobs, rails and misc. hardware work just like they should! The ground glass is in great shape and it's very bright. The viewing hood is on a hinge that can un-clip from the back and fold down so you can focus with a loupe. Bellows are in fantastic shape! Comes with a great ergonomic release grip with a leather hand strap that clips securely onto the camera and 3 Linhof cable release cords. The base of the camera has 2 different standard tripod mount screw sizes. The built-in light meter seems to work and responds to the changing light conditions, however, I have not tested it's accuracy. The camera also has a built-in rangefinder of which I also have not tested, when I shot the test roll I just used the ground glass and a loupe to focus. Comes with 3 outstanding lenses, each of which are mounted to a Linhof board that clips very easily onto the body. The lenses are very easy to switch out! Here is a breakdown of the lenses:
1) Schneider-Kreuznach Technika Tele-Arton 180mm f/4 Lens (SN: 7937505) in a Linhof Synchro-Compur Shutter (SN: A584966) w/ Technika Linhof Lens Board, Schneider Caps & Box. Aperture shows a little wear but works beautifully... very smooth and precise, aperture range is from f/4 to f/32. Shutter speeds are all accurate and work great, speeds range from 1/s-400/s. Moving the speed ring from 200/s to 400/s is a little stiff but still works fine. Glass fantastic!! Very clean and clear with no haze or fungus!! Made in Germany.
2) Schneider-Kreuznach Technika Super-Angulon 65mm f/8 Lens (SN: 8162383) in a Linhof Shutter (SN: 2383) w/ Technika Linhof Lens Board, Schneider Caps & Box. Aperture shows a little wear but works beautifully... very smooth and precise, aperture range is from f/8 to f/45. Shutter speeds are all accurate and work great, speeds range from B, 1/s-500/s. Glass looks very nice and clean showing only a few very minor and hard to see cleaning marks! Made in Germany.
3) Schneider-Kreuznach Technika Symmar 100mm f/5.6 / 175mm f/12 Convertible Lens (SN: 8296430) in a Linhof Shutter (SN: 8785349) w/ Technika Linhof Lens Board.
