Over the past year, I've acquired through eBay a full set of Cobra Baffler Hybrid clubs (2H - 6H). I'm a 69 year old 5 HCP golfer' with a steadily declining iron game. My middle and long irons had no elevation, and little distance control. I've been able to maintain my HCP because of a pretty fair short game. But, when I got on a course with elevated greens or sand or water hazards in front of the greens, I no longer had the skill and lacked the tools to play effectively. I managed to get by (sometimes) with steady driving, short iron play and my short game. My 1st Hybrid purchase was about 3 years ago. I bought a pair of new Nickent 3H and 4H clubs. The next year, I traded for a pair of new Taylor Rescue 3H and 4H clubs. Compared to my 3 and 4 irons, all of these were easier to hit solidly, but seemed to have a strong draw bias. The relatively small club heads meant a smaller sweet spot, and some difficulty with directional control. I first read about the Cobra Baffler Hybrids in Golf Magazine's 2007 and 2008 Club Test editions. The Hybrid club of the year winners were lauded for their wide profile and bigger sweet spot. I successfully bid on the 3H and 4H, and was amazed at how easy they were to hit high and straight. I could now hit greens from 180-190 yards on the fly, and the ball would sit down like a short iron. I went on a mission to get more of these clubs, and was able to win bids on the 5H, 6H and most recently the 2H. I use the new clubs for shots from 160 to 200 yards, as well as for chipping with a putting stroke from just off the green. I hit them with as much confidence as I do a 150 yard 7 iron. The 2H can also be used off the tee on tight par 4s and will cover 220 yards by aiming a little right of target and creating a running draw with more body turn. This has easily been the best game improvement equipment purchase I have ever made.Read full review
Have had the 4,5,6 from Cobra different year. Sets up a little differently but I like the feel of the Club. It was new but did not come with a head cover. It was not advertised with the cover but my other hybrids came with cover. I am enjoying the club

Usually I don't find the time to write reviews but I will here for all the other golf enthusiasts out there. I am a avid golfer who started playing four years ago and like anything else I get passionate about I work very hard at being the best I can. My scores in four years went from the 100's to the 90's and occasionaly into the 80's. But my goal was to consistently shoot in the low 80's. I decided to replace my 3 iron with one of these Cobra Baffler's and after hitting it have now replaced everthing from the 3 up to the 6 with Bafflers. They are the easiest hybrid I have ever tried to hit. The confidence factor I have when this club is in my hands speak for itself and now by the way my game is low 80's almost all the time. I highly recommend these clubs. Hit them straight and far.
This driver is incredibly light and powerful. When hit on the sweet spot, you can feel the ball jump off the face. Also, much less spray when miss hit or my swing is off, so very forgiving in that sense. Love it so far.

These clubs are great for me as I do not use my irons very well. They are light and longer than the irons which make them extremely easy to hit. I have been adding them to my bag one at a time and now almost have a full set. I tried the Callaway X series before this, and found the Bafflers easier to use and more consistant with distances that I am trying to reach.
