A great doll for display or reborn - more than worth the cost! This is a artist creation by Reva Schick for Lee Middleton Doll Company. This doll was original issued as the "Baby and Me" Lee Middleton Doll Company Club doll.
She is has full vinyl arms and legs, jointed at the shoulder and hips. Her body is soft, cloth filled and she is weighted to feel like a real newborn baby.
On the back of the neck of the doll is written "Reva" (artist sculptor Reva Schick) "786" (doll's edition number).
The doll extremely clean, free of odors or smells. Although there is a slight tiny rub on her right and left cheeks, you have to really look closely, this does not stand out. There are no marks on the arms or legs. The cloth, filled body is like-new. The doll eyes are violet-blue with the long Lee Middleton doll eyelashes intact.
No certificate of authenticity; doll has the familiar trademark artist's signature on her neck, along with her edition number, and she has a "Lee Middleton Original Dolls Inc" hangtag.
The doll is wearing a two-piece dress of dark green velvet material with a white satin collar accented with red plaid ribbon trim and gold ribbon and a red satin ribbon rose decoration, matching bloomers, and a diaper. The outfit that the doll is wearing is not the original Lee Middleton issue.
