I just finished building a new rifle, you know the kind. I wasn't sure about a red dot as I've always used iron sites for close-ish quarters shooting/hunting. I didn't want to put out $400+ dollars to see if I liked it. Well I'll tell you what, it bore sighted right in and it was so close on the range and didn't move a thing. I've had it out a couple times now and it's still working like a dream. So far for a try it out optics price, I see no reason to pay the big bucks. My view may change after I get some substantial time on it but, so far it's performed flawlessly. Obviously this review is for a low recoil rifle and absolutely not for any air rifle or spring operated weapon. The only reason it gets a Good and not Excellent is I haven't had it long enough to give anything an ExcellentRead full review

I have been using these low priced, great quality little red dots for years. They hold zero on a 556 caliber and a 762x39 AK as well. Have shot around 300 rounds with it on the new AK as of today and shoots a 5 shot group all touching bullet holes all day at 40 yards. Cant ask for better at any price. Lower illumination settings create a sharper more perfectly round dot at a smaller size and the dot grows as you turn up the power and looses a little of its shape. Been very impressed with these scopes now for about 3 years!

This item is more robust than I expected. Time will tell, but it looks/feels like it is constructed well enough to stand up to frequent field use. Two minor things I did not like. First, it will not fit on my Mossberg 500 slug gun's cantilever scope rail (slot spacing is not the optic's fault). So I've mounted it on a .22 target pistol instead of the slug gun. Second, it is very difficult for my eyes to pick up either color dot in bright snowy environments. However, the trade-off for that would be a larger (less precise) dot.

I have this mounted on my 5.56 and it looks great. Haven't dialed it in yet but for the price you really can't beat it. The dot isn't perfect like a eotech but come on...it's under $30. If you need a perfect sight then get a expensive one. I'm happy with this sight for now and I'm sure I will upgrade later. But for now I'm satisfied..... update.... shot about 150 rounds through my .556 and is still dialed in. Very happy with this sight

This red dot is great. Easy to sight in and holds a zero on my Mossberg 500, my AK47 and my AR 15. The dot is clear and sharp so precision isn't hard to achieve. The full metal construction makes me confident that this sight will last even in harsh conditions. This is an easy decision, just BUY IT. I bought 2 more after testing them. Happy shooting.
