I am not a big fan of NON-Fiction books, but someone gave me the book Trojan Gold..and I got bored one night and decided to read it..I am so glad I did, because this book introduced me to the character of Vicky Bliss..I ended up going to my local library and could only fine one book in that series..which was Night Train To Memphis..this book was really good..but it kept me guessing, because I had not had the chance to read the books in the order they were published. So,I got on ebay and found the other books in this series, and read them in the order they were meant to be read..after reading the last book..I ended up being upset, because reading a series is like watching a Soap Opera..they both keep you guessing and they almost always have some interesting couple in them.. Vicky and John are my Reva and Josh of daytime..lol. But all good things must come to and end.. too bad it has to be now...so long Vicky Bliss..you will be missed. I would suggest everyone read the series in the order they were published..before writing a review on this book.Read full review
The Vicky Bliss mysteries are full of historical detail, travel to other countries, unique villains, lighthearted & sometimes very funny. I read all of the early ones back in the 1980s, & they were even better now since I have travelled to most of her foreign country locations! The character of Vicky Bliss makes the books - highly educated, adventurous, funny, & a role model for women!
