Makes cozy warm soft slippers for the whole family! Use the children's favorite colors or their school colors - make everyone's pair a different color combination so they know which pair is their own. This slipper pattern is orthopedically correct - wider toe than heel and has an especially dense cushy sole so no one will have purl bumps pressing on their tender toes. And you will have no need for double point needles - they are easily made on two regular straight needles.

Finished size: Shoe form shown is US size 8.5; slipper measures nine inches and stretches a slight bit. Because I had less than a foot of Color A left over, the pattern is written for 1/4" shorter or probably size 8 maximum. If you want a larger size you will need additional Color A, and if you are making the foot longer by more than a half inch, also more of Color B. To be sure of getting the largest size possible with one hank of each color, divide each hank into two equal size/weight/yardage balls and use one per slipper.
