Laminated stock for a Traditions brand .... Buckskinner model
I have never seen a laminated stock for a muzzle loader... have you? This is neat!
50 caliber 15/16 black powder muzzle loader. The tang is for a hook breech type of barrel. The wedge is set up 5 3/4" from the breech. I tried multiple Traditions hook type barrels on it and it will interchange with various model barrels if the OD and the wedge measurements match.
You can put a CVA barrel on it if the wedge distance matches... but you must change out the tang to match that unique knob breech of theirs. This would not normally be worth the trouble... but this is a very rare kind of stock for a muzzle loader!
This is a half stock assembly that includes the sidelock and various furniture as shown in the pic.
Note in the pics... This stock has a crack that goes through the wedge estucheon on the sidelock side. I shot this gun before disassembling it... It could be easily repaired but it isn't critical to do so. The previous owner tried to hide it and messed the finish up in a small area around said wedge hole-estucheon.
I shot a close up pic of the damaged area so you can see what is there.
Note this one is a single wedge style barrel.
A half length hawkens style stock ... it had a 15/16 barrel . Look at the pictures carefully. You get what is in the pictures. . . and only what is in the pictures.
You know the auction will close for similar money anyway...
Buy my listings and you can quit wasting your time waiting!
Please note that at any given time I have various barrels and stocks listed...
No two of them are the same!!!
There is only limited interchangeability between brands and calibers.
If you are trying to match a specific barrel or stock together please email us to help with the matching process!
I am selling them all as fired/used so there is no question about things.
Check out the pics you can pretty much see what you are getting.
This sale is for the stock and lock assembly or the barrel assembly as the description above my describe. . . each with the various furniture shown in the pictures only. If it isn't in the pic... it doesn't come.
What to set your favorite Smoke pole up like a new one?
While this is not from an ancient muzzle loader it is a very desirable one.
I have an ebay store and have other gun parts. If you buy multiple items I will cut the shipping in half for the second item. As with any parts for a firearm you would need a competent gunsmith to certify your parts and your loading etc before use.
This sale is for the stock, lock and fixtures shown in the pictures only.
Will ship to the lower 48 states only. No exporting. No returns, you can pretty much see what I can see on this.
E-bay will not allow you to list a complete gun even if you split it into separate listings. Therefore I purposely don't sell the wedges or the ramrods. I sell only the barrel assemblies and Stock/lock assemblies. Without the wedges (or in this case the pins, which I do not sell... you cannot attach the barrel to the stock. Without the ramrod you cannot load and fire this as a gun... If you buy everything in my listings you will still be short the wedge and the ramrod so it won't be a complete gun. It will not go bang.
I do not certify the various parts off the firearms for firearm use due to Ebay rules. It is only a part intended for restoration and showing-re-enactment purposes only... not firing of a projectile. As with any parts for a firearm you would need a competent gunsmith to certify your parts, combinations of parts, installation of parts and certify it for your loads before any use. You would also need a gunsmith to certify legality of the resulting firearm... therefore this part is not intended for such. It is sold for restoration purposes.
Will ship to the lower 48 states only. No exporting.
I have an ebay store and have other gun parts. If you buy multiple items I will cut the shipping in half for the second item (The least expensive shipping is the one cut in half). No returns, you can pretty much see what I can see on this.
