|LUXURIOUS Avant Garde VTG DONNY BROOK Art DECO Runway FAUX FUR Cocoon COAT*M-XL
Calling on all divas & fellow luxury lovers! This beautiful 1980s designer Donny Brook coat, made of the most whimsical printed faux fur material, is the bee's knees!
Faux furs, shown by haute couture designers on world fashion runways, are making a huge comeback as a response to the animal rights activism. This coat is not only politically correct, but it is warm and super-fashionable - it's simply incredible, one-of-a-kind and without the 5-digit price tag!
The print features a black-and-white, cartoon-like drawing of various ladies' faces & there also is a guy with a mustache and a bow-tie!
It is fully lined, with a huge shawl collar (mimicking the flapper shawl coat style of the 1920s), padded shoulders and closes with a large black oval-shaped button.
It has two pockets and is ready to go!
Don't forget to check out the perfectly matching designer hand-made purse with the same print, currently listed in a separate listing (see the enclosed photo)!
A stunning RUNWAY WORTHY plush, luxurious vintage designer coat looking for a diva to show it off!
tagged as a vintage size M, but as is the case with most 1980s garments when everything was super-sized, the coat is rather large - for a proper fit, please refer to the measurements below;
Approximate measurements (taken while garment laying flat):
*Shoulder seam to shoulder seam:
(this measurement is large, since the coat has typical 1980s "slouched" shoulders)
*Chest (armpit to armpit):
great vintage (gently pre-worn) with only some soiling on the bottom front (see pic # 13) to report & a teeny tiny barely-there speck on the back (see pic #14); the coat as is, is in a ready-to-be-worn condition!
A DIVINE VINTAGE LUXURY NOT TO BE MISSED!
***SHIPPING: the relatively high shipping charges are estimated charges. If actual domestic shipping turns out to be less, I will refund the difference.
NON-U.S. BIDDERS, PLEASE INQUIRE ABOUT SHIPPING CHARGES TO YOUR COUNTRY PRIOR TO BIDDING! THANK YOU!***
This is a PAYPAL ONLY auction. Payment is due immediately at the end of auction, unless you're waiting for another auction to end (please notify me when you do so). Please, do not bid unless you intend to follow through with the payment. By bidding, you agree to the above payment requirements.
*Note: If you absolutely must have an item (i.e. you can't live without it, it has your name on it or simply need it before the end of auction) which has not received any bids yet and/or does not already have a Buy It Now price, feel free to make me a reasonable offer and I might consider adding one (i.e. a Buy It Now price).
U.S.A. Shipping: All U.S. items are shipped USPS Priority Mail. I will ship worldwide and I combine shipping! You pay full shipping charges on the heaviest item and then add $3 ($6 for international buyers) for each additional item purchased (lightweight items such as scarves, add $1; heavy items, such as coats, boots, heavily beaded garments, etc. will cost more). The Priority Mail shipping charge includes a delivery confirmation number. I ship 3-4 times a week. If you need your item quickly, please let me know and I will try to accommodate your needs. Thank you!
International Buyers: International shipping charges will depend on your location, the volume and weight of the item and how fast you need it. I ship international mail once a week so keep that in mind. I am not responsible for length of shipping time or delivery on international shipments.
All merchandise is sold as is, all sales are final. Please bear in mind that unless otherwise stated, most garments have been worn and pre-loved, i.e. they will show signs of wear. I check every item over very carefully for any flaws, spots and wash wear and will describe everything in as much detail as possible. I do not wash or dry clean vintage items since many of them are delicate, several decades old and I do not want to interfere with a garment's integrity. I will leave all that to a lucky winner. Remember to clean your vintage clothing prior to wear, since neither of us knows their history. Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions prior to bidding as ALL SALES ARE FINAL, unless I have grossly misrepresented an item. I've done my best to represent colors accurately, but the color calibration of computer monitors can vary considerably (which is why I usually provide not only lots of photos but also a verbal color description). All measurements are approximate. Remember, your body measurements must be smaller than those of a garment if it is to fit you comfortably. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE AUCTION PAGE (and not just the item description) THOROUGHLY BEFORE BIDDING! I have made every effort to describe my items as accurately, honestly and completely as possible. This includes any imperfections. As a buyer, it is your responsibility to decide whether you are willing to purchase the item as described BEFORE placing a bid. I will offer a refund minus shipping charges ONLY if the item has a major defect not mentioned in the ad (signs of previous wear or a little snag here and there are NOT major defects). Please DO NOT BID unless you are absolutely as sure of an item as an INTERNET auction will allow. Shopping "sight unseen" is risky, which is why I, as a buyer always ask a lot of questions and encourage you to do the same. FEEL FREE TO EMAIL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS, doubts or comments you may have and don't forget to look at my other auctions! Good luck bidding!
*Note: any accessories shown in photos are NOT for sale, unless otherwise stated. They are used strictly for stylistic purposes, to give you an idea what a garment might look like accessorized. Also, garments may be pinned on the mannequin/model to show proper fit - please keep that in mind. Thank you!

IF YOU HAVE ZERO OR NEGATIVE FEEDBACK, YOU MUST CONTACT ME PRIOR TO BIDDING (no exceptions)!. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation of your bid. I inspect all my items thoroughly and take hours to look them over, take detailed pictures and truthfully report any flaws. But I am only human and mistakes may happen. If you find any problems with your item that were NOT mentioned in the item description and that drastically affect the wear-ability of your garment/item, please, do not post hasty feedback, but rather, drop me a line and I will do everything I can to rectify the situation. Do not use the feedback feature as a message forum, please. If you have any concerns about your purchase, you must communicate them to me within 48 hours of receiving your item. If you need additional info about an item (measurements, photos, etc.), feel free to e-mail me. Remember, I am just an e-mail away (contact me through "ask seller a question" feature). Whenever possible, please allow at least 24 hours for me to get back to you. Thank you!
*Note: I've been a responsible buyer and though new to selling, I intend on being just as conscientious, thorough and professional as a seller. I've had my share of Ebay disappointments - due to flaws that were either overlooked or intentionally undisclosed by sellers, poor communication, rudeness, etc. But despite all the battles that I've encountered on my Ebay path so far, I was able to keep a positive attitude and have learned that through clear communication, mutual respect, patience and professionalism, any conflict situation can be resolved. I am a fashion risk taker and so far Ebay has been a great way for me to build a fabulous wardrobe, exercise my creativity, as well as meet some genuinely interesting people, while having fun all along! So, bid with confidence and e-mail me if you have any questions or comments! Let's keep Ebay a fun place and have a wonderful day!
