Here it is… an awesome opportunity to finish a nearly completed & amazing project that you can finish just in time for the holiday season… for that special child and/or the children in your life.
It’s truly an amazing handcrafted “Cambridge” house that your child/ren will keep and treasure forever! Especially, since you’ll be involved in the completion of it.
-This amazing doll house was started and nearly completed by a master craftsman; however, sadly, its creator was not able to complete it. Luckily, for you… the most difficult work has already been completed and painted. Initially, when this kit was purchased several years ago, it cost $175.00; however, now… a similar kit by the same mfg., is approximately $450.00. Without the appropriate tools, a similar project could easily turn into a very costly expenditure, especially, when it comes to your time; along, with the cost of the tools it would take to finish such a project. Therefore, this doll house is a total “win-win” project. I purchased it for my son to finish completing it with and for his 4 yr old daughter; however, shortly after I gave it to him, someone in the family gave her a completed, fully furnished, two story doll house. Funny though, is that every single time my granddaughter comes over… she spends hours playing with her toys in mine, even though it’s not done. Truly, it has amazing charm that no child can ignore. I found out that my granddaughter has only played with her other doll house a couple of times, yet she always begs to play with this one every single time she comes over.
Please note that although, it may look like there is still a lot more to be completed, because of everything that is still left in the boxes… there’s isn’t! The original craftsman, purchased a lot of extra supplies. He even made two stained glass windows, which did not come with it, to add to the house. They too, are included, with additional glass for more custom windows. He also custom made the frames for the stained glass windows, which shouldn’t be too difficult to add. With just a little more time and effort, this incredible home, will be ready to play with by the holidays and if you choose to say so… you can tell everyone that you built it from scratch, because really… who will ever know?
The incredible tools, which you can see in the tool box, are all included; therefore, you won’t need to buy “anything,” to finish this project! Everything is painted and ready to be glued together. Due to the storage of some of the windows and door frames… a few of them could use a little touch up paint.
-Big & beautiful three story “Cambridge” doll house with electricity and a 4th story cubby-tower chamber.
-Approximately 21” deep x 30” wide x 40” tall
Note: This home is approximately 90% completed. Nearly all of the windows and doors are painted & ready to install. This is the ultimate doll house you always wanted to build, but were afraid to dive in and start it… well, that part has already been done and all you have to do is finish installing the fun stuff. It’s been moved around a lot; therefore, the floors are a little loose, but all in all…. it still in excellent shape! Note: The only reason the floors are a little loose is because the supporting walls have not yet been installed.
-The awesome and delicate brick work is already completed, which is one of the most difficult cosmetic features; along, with the, painting, flooring and shingles.
-Again, no one will ever know that you didn’t do all of the work yourself!
-Included in the package is an awesome tool box, completely filled with all of the tools and hardware that you, your hobbyist or your honey-do, will need to complete this project. There is a miniature sander, transformer, jig saw and a lot of other tools that were barely used and they are all in awesome “Like new” condition. Not shown, but included is a small glue gun and several glue sticks.
