LITTLE RACCOON by Suzanne Noguere and illustrated by Tony Chen. The author is a poet and the illustrator is a former art director for Newsweek, painter, sculptor. They collaborated because of a mutual interest in animals.
Charming illustrations of raccoons in all sorts of poses and activities.
"Little Raccoon and her three brothers were born in the hollow of a maple tree one spring day. From the safety of their den, they gradually ventured out into the forest. There they always found new things to learn from Mother or discover on their own. Being raccoons, they were often getting into mischief, and sometimes even danger, especially Little Raccoon.
The story of Little Raccoon's first year, told with a clear, simple text and Tony Chen's beautiful drawings , will delight children as much as the author's and artist's first collaboration Little Koala . "(also listed)
Copy is a sturdy library rebound. Libraries paid a lot for this process and the result is a binding guaranteed for the life of the sheets. We have found that they just won't come apart. AND they are washable!
One of the best things you can do for a child is to introduce him/her to his natural world. There is so much to see and enjoy, but won't be noticed unless they are very curious or it is pointed out. Try some of our good nature books & look for the response. Some small detail which might have gone unnoticed may be the door to a lifetime of discovery and joy. Selling duplicates of books we have & enjoy.
Selling duplicates of books we have & enjoy. Listing a BIG group of science books . Take a look. Media . Combining shipping is always welcome and economical. Ex-library.
I have an ebay store. See it as I load the "shelves". I will be able to keep a group of science, history, fiction, children's, geography and Texana books available to you as well as my usual teacher / homeschool materials and AV machines. I have rooms full of these duplicates to sell. All has been either read or previewed for content. I spend a lot of time with my descriptions, hoping to help you make good choices for your needs. The store should be a time-saver for me and a convenience for you. Let me know if you like it!
NOTE! I sell nearly all school surplus items. My bad comments have come from book "collectors". I guess I am a book user! Expect to see library marks. I clean a lot of them off, but my interest is in the content , basic neatness, sturdiness. As a good ebayer, always read descriptions thoroughly and ask questions before closing.
