THE PRINT IS SURROUNDED WITH AN ELABORATE AND TRIUMPHANT DESIGN AS PICTURES SHOW. 

THE 1900 WORLD FAIR IN PARIS, FRANCE, WAS A CELEBRATION OF ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE LAST CENTURY. THE DESIGNS OF VARIOUS ADVERTISEMENTS AND POSTERS WERE ART NOUVEAU. 

I AM NOT SURE HOW OLD THIS PIECE IS OR WHAT IT WAS USED FOR, BUT IT CERTAINLY LOOKS VERY IMPRESSIVE. 

THE CONDITION IS EXCELLENT IF NOT MINT WITH NO RIPS, SOILING OR HOLES. IT WILL NEED PRESSING. TOP AND BOTTOM RIM HAVE BEEN HEMMED. THE SIDE RIMS ARE SOLID. 

THE PICTURES SHOW THE LINEN IN CREAM COLOR. THE COLOR HOWEVER IS WHITE!

THE SIZE IS APPROX. 31" x 33", ALMOST SQUARE. 

WHAT A WONDERFUL AND SO SPECIAL FRENCH LINEN ADVERTISING CLOTH! GREAT FOR DISPLAY ONCE PRESSED ... OR ... FABULOUS AS A LARGE PILLOW!
