More info than you would ever want to know from Kodak’s from Granite St.

It all started about 20 years ago, I was gathering up un-sold items from a local Rotary Club yard sale to bring to a local church auction, and there they were two lonely cameras. The first was a Kodak Fun Saver movie camera and the second was a 50th Anniversary Kodak box camera. Several years later I would find out (by guess who) that 550,000 of these cameras had been given free to any child whose 12th birthday fell in 1930.Those two cameras are what got me hooked and over the next 10-11 years I would buy any camera that I thought was good looking, or had something that I had not seen, the only thing that was important was that they were inexpensive, less than $5. As time went by I had amassed probably 125 cameras that had been found on EBAY, at local yard sales or flea markets, but my collection had no direction, it was all over the place, and I could find very little, if any information on the cameras I was collecting. Then while searching for information on a Kodak camera that I had bought, I stumbled upon the website of Walker Mangum’s “The Kodak Collector’s Page.”  That was it, if I collected Kodak cameras, and there were hundreds and hundreds of them, I had a place I could go to find out about a particular camera. His site had everything, was well thought out, he had a collection that was amazing, and he had books listed that were a must have for Kodak collectors. It was now clear that if I wanted to know about the cameras that I was collecting I would have to sell off all of my non Kodak’s and start over with just Kodak cameras. In 2002 I started selling off my cameras on EBAY and re-started collecting the same way; cameras had to be under $5, then $10, $20, $50 then $100, then? As time went by and my collection grew, there were no more finds at local flea markets or yard sales. For several years I could still find the occasional camera at the Brimfield Flea Market, but as time went by most were priced too high, so now EBAY was the only place to find what I needed. So once the decision was made to sell off my collection EBAY was the place that I would list my 350+ Kodak cameras and my 100 + Kodak related items so that someone else can start or add to their Kodak collection. So please forgive me if I have made any mistakes in listing my cameras, as I have tried to do my best “Walker Mangum” in giving all the information that I could when listing my Kodak cameras, for the next collector. Please save my store “Kodak’s from Granite St” as a favorite and come back often to fill your Kodak camera needs. I will combine shipping, and never charge extra for packing or handling. Feel free to contact me with any questions about any camera or item listed, but please reference camera number or item number listed (i.e.  1A6,2B7,3C4,etc.)  when inquiring, so that I can find the item .I have all cameras listed in groups as I had them listed in my own collection to keep track of, “Pop-Out Bellows”-“Box Cameras”-“Pop-Up Viewer”-“Misc. Brownie’s”-“Misc. Kodak’s”-“Instamatics”-“Movie Cameras”-“Kodak Instant Cameras”-“Disposable”-& “ Kodak Stuff”. I have also rated each camera as to how well it displays, the numbers given are what I feel are fair, are what I rated them in my collection, they are not rated as working cameras, as I have never tested or used any of these cameras and I bought them strictly to display. Each camera has been lightly cleaned, photographed, the description has been written and handled by me to list here on EBAY, it has been a collection started by, and now to be sold off by GRANITE-ST-KODAKS.
