The aftermarket part numbers for this blank are Ilco# 62DG/1062DG, Taylor# 62DG, and Curtis# UN2.

The "code series" determines the manufactured (keyway) cuts on the blade of the blank. These cuts allow the blank to enter the lock.

 

 The "code" determines the cuts that need to be made on the blank to allow the key to operate that specific lock. The code is usually found stamped on the lock cylinder, and often on the original key.

Different code series = Different keyway = Different key blank

 

 If your vehicles lock code falls into any of the code series listed, this blank will work for you. The (code) cuts will just have to be duplicated from your key. Any locksmith or retail store with a key machine should be able to do this for you.

 

 

 

If the code is not available, the easiest way to tell is to match your key, and/or the part number on your key, to the ones pictured. Pay special attention to the "keyway cuts",(the manufactured cuts down the lengh of the blade).
