It's a good sturdy and compact knife for every day utilitarian use and the blade has plenty of backbone. The cons are as follows: The thumb stud is positioned too close to the handle taking away the leverage needed to deploy the blade. It can be painful on the thumb when opening it one handed. A larger diameter knurled thumb stud would have lessened the discomfort. The top back end of the handle tapers away and also robs the handle of leverage needed when cutting through tough material. Overall though, the price is right for what you get.

My hand is pretty much a medium/large hands and my pinky doesn’t wrap around this knife at all, so it doesn’t fit and feel secure if I needed to do any heavy/emergency type use with it, but it does have a lanyard hole that I could attach a 2-3 inch para cord to it so I have more of a grip. Overall it’s a nice knife, it doesn’t feel too sharp though.

I own alot of knives for some strange reason and my favorite brands are Kershaw, Gerber and Buck. I saw the 3/4 Ton Kershaw at the low price and thought I would try it. Great knife! Usually I sharpen knives as soon as I get them but this knife came from the factory as sharp as I would ever get it! Very well built and solid! No wiggle. The only thing I don't just love is the length of the handle but that is me being picky. I bought a few more for the price and carry one every day.

I could say that I never met a Kershaw I didn't like, that would not be true, but I am talking about one that I like very much. It is flawless in workmanship as all Kershaw are. It is compact and light so it's great for your pocket. It is dependable and locks open tight, no wobble in the open blade at all. I would not only recommend it, but I am highly recommending this fine knife.

I was skeptical about this knife, due to it's low cost, but it proved me wrong. The quality is high, the durability seems very good, and I put an edge on the blade that you can shave with. I used it several times on hiking / camping trips and it held the edge quite good, so the steel is durable. This is a very good knife. Thanks Ron
