I live off rutted, bumpy, gravel/dirt roads and the unit doesn't skip a beat!

Unit has great sound but is not user friendly because controls are small and menus are difficult to access in a logical fashion

I bought and installed this stereo for one of my kids cars (Mistubsishi Lancer). I installed Kenwwod speakers as well to make sure there are no blown speakers. While this is an upgrade to a factory stereo it's still not too loud. Installation was very easy and the sound quality is good. I accidentally ordered this model (KDC-152) instead of the KDC-155 that has the usb port but the specs were the same so I installed it anyway. Overall this is good value for what you get and Kenwood has been around for a long time so I'm sure it will last.
This was a pretty straight forward stereo install into my daughter's 1994 Pontiac Trans Am. I soldered the proper plug in to the leads coming from the stereo. Standard antenna plugin. Once in the stereo took about 10 minutes to run through all the features and learn them. Only thing we haven't done is to use the aux jack to play from my daughter's mp3. Inexpensive and reasonably easy install. I recommend this stereo if you need an inexpensive decent replacement.
Installation intructions were easy to follow. I intsalled this in my 87 Mercedes 560SEC to replace original radio-cassettte unit. Hooked up to existing 4 speakers. Sound quality is fantastic. Was a perfct fit. Controls easy to navigate. I don't know how I have done w/o a remote all these years. Removeable face plate insertion is a tad awkward though.
