Research Down Syndrome (RDS) is a non-profit foundation that supports Down syndrome cognitive research, an area that in the last 5 years has experienced great advances towards developing biomedical therapies to treat the cognitive impairment of people of all ages with Down syndrome. Join us for the 6th Annual O'Neill Studios Salon Party. The event will take place Saturday, March 24th 2012, 7:00-12:00 am at 1147 20th Street NW Washington DC 20036. Over 60 pieces of artwork by featured artists: Chris Cooley, Dominique Fierro, Maggie O'Neill, Rodger Schultz, Brittany Sims, Karen Suderman and Tina Palmer. A portion of the proceeds from the painting sales will go to Research Down Syndrome. There will be live painting, dancing AND musical entertainment by DJ Big Des. Food will be provided by Lincoln and specialty drinks will be created by Wooden Nickel Bar Company. $75.00 per person purchased only in advance at http://oneillstudios2012salonparty.eventbrite.com.
