Up for auction is a vintage black Kevi office/drafting chair. Chair is in good condition with average wear from normal usage over the years. No cracks, chips or any delamination. As you may see from photos, the paint has faded from some of the edges. All adjusments work perfectly and there is no squeking or resistance from any of the joints. 

 

Jorgen Rasmussen studied architecture at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in his native Coopenhagen, while at the same time designing office furniture and industrial fittings for Kevi. He established an architecture office with brother and collaborative partner, Ib. The Kevi caster, a new breed of rolling mechanism for furniture, would be used on many Knoll products to follow.
