This modification will give you very similar results that an ECU (Electronic Control Unit) upgrade chip will do. the Fuel Performance Module is a simple modification that connects to a data sensor in your vehicle. It works by sending a signal to your ECU that the air coming into the intake is colder, therefore advancing your timing and letting out the fuel supply creating more horsepower. It is a module that will modify your Air/Fuel ration and slightly change your engine timing to run stronger and with increased horsepower and increased fuel economy.
On top of the performance gain you will get from this, you will also be doing one more thing. You will INCREASE YOU MPG!! Yes, that is correct. You will get better performance and increased fuel economy! What other performance parts are going to increase your MPG? Not too many of them will do both.
In most cases you will gain up to 20 HP and increase your fuel economy by 3 MPG (don't listen to the false claims the competitors tell with 35-50 HP and 5-15 MPG). NO. This will not void out most warranties. If you have a very strict underwriter on your warranty, you can simply remove this mod in less than 5 minutes. There will be no trace that it was ever installed! This can then be re-installed after having you warranty work done!
