Reverso Duetto expresses brilliant duality within just one timekeeper : the front by day, the back by night; sporty on the front, elegant on the back : natural charm on the front, refined seductiveness on the back.  The Reverso Duetto provides a subtly symbolic alternation between daily life and exceptional events. 

A silvered guilloche dial with its floral numerals expresses the understated simplicity of the front, while the sophistication of the back is conveyed by the generous diamonds enhanced by the mother-of-pearl and guilloche silvered dial.  Between these two worlds lies a mechanical manually-wound movement with double hand-fitting, Jaeger LeCoultre Calibre 844, one of the smallest in the world.  

The Master Control Test, unlike the official chronometer tests, the 1000 Hour Program includes testing of the cased-up watch complete with hands and dial.  In addition to the six position performance trial, under different temperatures, the reliability of the Master Control is assessed in constant motion, motionless, under calculated shocks, pressures of five atmospheres (50m), and in magnetic fields.  The testing procedure is designed to find any potential weak spot in a watch during the critical first 1,000 hours of its life.  At the end of this trial, each successful watch is signed and dated on the inside by the master watch maker responsible.  And it earns a numbered gold seal on the case back, which certifies that it is a thoroughly tested wristwatch -  a timepiece you can depend on.
