      Sword description:

Balde:

 

This blade is made of folded steel and has folded 12 times to create the 4096 layers to increase the flexibility and hardness of the blade and a distinct texture is left on the blade as a result of the repeated folding during the process. The blade has been treated specially to be the black color blade which increase the aesthetic vlaue of the sword as a whole, The blade can be made very sharp or no sharp according to the customers' requirement.

This handmade blade is hand forged, polished, and sharpened by our experienced smith during the whole proess in the most traditional Japanese craftmanship way.
Bo-hi is added to each side of the blade to ligthen the blade and balance the sword as a whole to make better operation.( If you don’t want the bo-hi, we can also do it for you, just contact us through ebay message)

 

 

Fitting:

 

The fittings on this sword are made of copper, and they are full hand-made carved and assembled by our experienced smith which greatly increase the collection value of the sword.

 

Sword Function:
 This sword is made of folded steel with 12 times folding to create the 4096 layers, which cast flexibility and hardness of the blade in a large degree and has been treated specially to be the red color The sword can be used to cut the cut the straw mat and bamboo but should with good technique and right gesture; and can be sharp to cut slice paper, also as one of the collections or display for its beautiful steel grain and special red color blade and also its beautiful hand-carved fittings.
