I AM OFFERING UP FOR AUCTION THIS WEEK, A VERY RARE, HIGHLY DESIRABLE ORIGINAL Ca. 1648 J. BLAEU MAP ENTITLED: Wigorniensis Comitatus et Comitatus Warwicensis; nec non Coventrae Libertas. Worcester, Warwik Shire and the Liberty of Coventre.

I BELIEVE THIS IS A COPPER ENGRAVING, BUT I AM NOT 100% SURE. IT IS ORIGINAL Ca. 1648 OLD COLOURED AND IS IN VERY GOOD TO EXCELLENT CONDITION! (SEE PICTURES). I BELIEVE THAT I CAN POSSIBLY SEE A WATERMARK TO THE PAPER OF THIS MAP WHEN LOOKING VERY CLOSE NEAR THE BOTTOM RIGHT QUARTER (SEE MY CLOSE-UP PICTURE). NOT SURE IF IT IS WATERMARKED OR NOT, BUT IT CERTAINLY APPEARS TO HAVE WATERMARKS THROUGH THE GLASS WHEN LOOKING.

THIS MAP IS FRAMED & MATTED AND IT SITS BEHIND GLASS, SO PLEASE EXCUSE MY PICTURES! THE MAP IS MUCH CLEARER THAN SHOWN IN PICTURES. I FIGURED THE NEXT OWNER WOULD APPRECIATE THE PROFESSIONAL JOB WHEN THEY RECEIVE IT!
