These 3 beautiful huge (20inch long) standard gauge cars have been on display in my home for the past several years. As a member of TTOS I have run them a few times. The first time I found that they wouldn't negotiate the 21" curves, so I modified them as shown in the pictures by undercutting the steps enough to allow the couplers to swing a greater angle, and it works fine. These mods are invisible when the cars are upright. Note that in the pictures the tops of the window frames appear to be blackened but this is only a reflection of the dark roof of my garage where I took the pictures; the cars are in perfect condition, and the brasss shines like new. I am selling because I am planning a move to a smaller home. These cars look great behind a Lionel 400E, or 381 E, or any other of the larger Lionel, McCoy or AF engines. I accept paypal, or a certified check (after clearing). Shipping via UPS at 21 lb. plus insured at bid value or max UPS accepts whichever is less. I will provide UPS tracking # via e-mail to buyer. |
