This is my Ibanez AS103BM-NT. I purchased it brand new from an Ibanez dealer in St. Louis about four years ago. I purchased it as a collectors guitar. Apparently Ibanez only produced 120 of these guitars and they never made it to the big outlets like Guitar Center and Musicians' Friend. They were hard to find and I was lucky enough to find one in a local shop. I purchased this one and around the same time purchased it's little brother, the AM103BM. I fell in love with the smaller size of the AM, so the ES335 size AS model has to go because I can't justify keeping both. The tone flexibility of the AS similar to the 335 but, the burled maple top and back on the Ibanez is a work of art compared to anything coming out of the Memphis factory. The fit and finish rivals that of a Carvin and/or a PRS. The awesome wood grain on top and back as well as the wood binding all around, the abalone inlays on the rosewood fret board and the rosewood knobs and pick-guard are work of art. The rounded fret ands are addictive, they are fast and smooth and makes me wonder why other manufacturers don't do this.
When I purchased it, the guitar tech/luthier did a complete set-up which included fine tuning/setting the nut slots, leveling the frets (very little required), adjusting the slots on the bridge saddles to match the fret-board radius, adjusting string height, truss rod and intonation. I like the action low and very little relief on the neck, so that is how it is set up. There is no buzzing unless you REALY dig in HARD. Currently strung with DiAddario .011 gauge flat wounds.
The guitar is all 100% original. The Super-58 pick-ups sound amazing, they do it all.
Gold hardware is hard to keep looking like new. Which brings me to mention that there is some tarnishing. Mainly on the top of the bridge pick-up and the top of the bridge, This can be seen in photo #6. There is also slight tarnish on the strap pins. There are no marks, dings, scratches, dents or nicks. I always used a buckle protector so there is no buckle rash either. The guitar has been kept in my temp/humidity controlled home with the occational trip to play at church. Always wiped down after use and stored in its case. I am a non-smoker and so my my house. The case has a small surface nick in the grey vinyl about the size of a half a dime. Located near the neck latch. Sorry no key came with it.
You get what is pictured, original hard case and all paperwork.
The guitar weighs about 8.3 lbs, with the case about 15 lbs.
It will be expertly packed and double boxed. I will ship via your preference but, I will try FedEx first. It will have a "must sign for" instruction on the way bill. I don't want it delivered without a signature and you don't want it left on your door step. The shipping weight in the shipping calculator is probably bit high. I am not sure what the final weight will be by the time it's all packed up. I will refund any shipping costs over the estimate back to you. I have been a trusted eBayer for a while, and I don't want to lose a good status, so I trust you will reimburse to me actual shipping charges that were not included in the sale price. I have been burned by inaccuracies with the shipping calculators before.
I welcome local pick-up in the St. Louis metro area and the Minneapolis (MSP airport) area.
******International bidders*****, I can hand deliver to Amsterdam or Paris. If you are outside of the U.S.A. and canNOT get to Amsterdam or Paris, please do NOT bid.
I will ship asap after payment is sent via PAYPAL only.
Thanks for looking.

My discription does not mention that my guitar is in pristine condition. I would call it near perfect except for the tarnish on the gold hardware as mentioned above.
