USA 1983 12" EP on Chrysalis (41436-1).
AMG REVIEW: A five-track sibling of "primitive man" intended to entice buyers to the full effect. Depending on where in the world you live, only one or two are not available on the parent album. "Break These Chains" was culled for the European release (in favor of a re-recorded "Love in Motion") and "Over the Line" was the B-side for "Street Café." Both are good but a little dated now; still, they are a valuable insight to the music of that era and to nostalgia freaks. More common are the other three: "Café itself, mega-single "Hey Little Girl," and the instrumental "Glam."
SONGS: A1 Break These Chains (3:40)
A2 Hey Little Girl (3:38)
A3 Over The Line (2:45)
B1 Street Cafe (4:11)
B2 Glam (3:18)
CONDITION: the record is near mint, cover is VG+ to excellent with edgewear on the right side edge & tiny bit of wear on the very tips of the corners.
THANKS FOR CHECKING OUT MY ITEM ON EBAY BUT PLEASE READ ALL INFO ABOVE & BELOW BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS, ABOUT 90% OF QUESTIONS IM GETTING FROM EBAY CUSTOMERS ARE ALREADY ANSWERED EITHER ABOVE OR BELOW OR ON MY ABOUT ME PAGE, THANK YOU.
I pretty much use the Goldmine & Record Collector magazines standards for grading, I can send you a link for details in depth about record/cover grading. My other items like CD's & books go by the same grading system as a general guide. I've been selling records & CD's professionally for over 20 years now & I try to be accurate in my grading (read my feedbacks on that, I rarely mis-grade, records are always VISUALLY graded only unless stated).
LP SHIPPING + PACKING & VARIOUS INFO:
I use real coated cardboard LP mailers when I ship vinyl & these are very durable. I usually take the records with the inner sleeves out of the covers (unless factory sealed of course) so they don't split the seams of the cover in shipment. Then I put them in a 2 or 3 mil plastic sleeve & then wrap a plastic bag or two around them to keep them from flopping around in the mailer, this method seems to work best since it adds air & almost works like bubble wrap (keeps the LP's usually under a pound & saves a lot on shipping rates worldwide compared to using cardboard inserts), breakage rate has been way less than 1 in 1000 using this method, if I added cardboard it also would make the weight of it more prone to the corners getting dented in transit if dropped. 10" records & 12" singles count as 1 LP for shipping, single laserdiscs count as 2 LP's for shipping (& I pack 2+ records differently & I have oversized boxes for larger packages).
All records are BLACK VINYL unless noted & inserts/gatefold covers/posters/custom inner sleeves will be noted in the description if they are included plus promo & cutout marks stated if they are there also. I don't believe in hiding stuff & try to note most everything that should matter to buyers. All 12" vinyl on ebay is automatically listed as 33 1/3 rpm & 7" vinyl as 45 rpm (to save time on listing all this stuff) if you need to confirm speed on a specific item please ask & I can go check.
Please contact me within 3 business days of the end of the auction to confirm you got my end of auction invoice or just pay directly through PayPal at the end of the auction (PayPal is the only accepted form of payment now with ebay). Payment is expected within 7 days after the auction ends on day 8 I'll send a non payment warning (which means you have 7 days left to make payment once you get the warning from ebay. Positive feedback will be left if you pay me in a timely manner but negative feedback will always be left for non payers.
SHIPPING & HANDLING RATES:
On this item are listed on the bottom, my detailed shipping rates are on a separate page (click on the shipping rates link) if you want to bunch up items to save shipping cost. My shipping rates are extremely cheap compared to most other full time sellers & pretty much are only covering shipping & the mailer & just a fraction of my other actual costs, insurance is always the customers responsibility.
I tend to run a lot of the same bands/type of music at the same time. Most cleared payments go out within 24 hours. I'm working by myself here so you are only communicating with me & not a bunch of people & I'm at my computer several times a day & rarely miss a day checking emails. So expect quality hands on service. Everything you see on auction & in my store is (physically) here with me (& no middleman shipping ever!).
I DO NOT ACCEPT BEST OFFER & PRICES ARE FIRM ON EVERYTHING I SELL ON EBAY.
Most my items I list go on auction first & then if they don't sell to my store within a few days after the auction ends (for usually more than my minimum bid so watch my auctions to get the best prices on some of the items). I try to keep 50-100 auctions going at all times (usually at least 25) there are well over 2500 items in my ebay store now.
OTHER INFO FOR FOREIGN BUYERS:
I very much welcome my foreign customers, a full 1/2 or more of all my ebay sales go overseas now so I've become quite used to dealing with overseas bidders/buyers. Most of you don't pay for registered/insured mail which is fine with me (but at your own risk) which is usually never a problem. I do get receipts at the post office as proof of shipment.
