It work greats and from the moment i got it, the hover wind tunnel 2 has put a big smile on my face, its easy to put together, emptying the dirt is easy, and it has a modern design that makes it fun. it picks up well, nice pick up flow for wood floors too, however the the suction hose is very, Very short. it also uses a lot of power, its running my electricity bill 4R no lie.

Update: Hoover replaced my vacuum ASAP since it was still within 14 days of purchase. Received the second one and it was all red color which I like better. But more importantly I have used it three times in two weeks and It's working fine including Power Paw. I know it only has a 6-month warranty and I have no idea how long it will last but for the low low cost it if lasts a year I will be happy. I would give it 4 stars except for the hassle of having the first one stop working when I needed it! This vacuum worked great and was a breeze to put together. Love the power paw and other attachments for pet fur. It's a bit heavier than my last vac but if you take all the attachments off when you vacuum it's fine. I did have to empty the canister a few more times than normal but it is very easy to empty. I like where the on/off switch is located so not sure why people are complaining. My only nit pick is that I'd wanted in the red color shown but it was 1/2 red and 1/2 burnt orange. I'm sure for the $40 price I can get used to it. It will be interesting to see how a re-manufactured vacuum lasts. My last new one that was a similar price only lasted a year so hope this Hoover will last longer. Update: Vaccuum would not turn on the second time I tried to use it. Still had pllenty of suction but would not turn on, Have requested another vacciuum. Will update afterwards. Back to using my old stinky Eureka.Read full review

Used only a couple of times but seems to do the job. Good suction, fairly good construction (although all plastic). Nice height adjusting method. Like the cord hook to keep it out of your way when using. 2 things I don't like: The on/off switch. Should be located around the handle so it is easy to turn on and off with a finger. Auckward design and location. Electric cord return. Foot pedal rewinds cord when done. I can see this breaking quickly. Seems like a weak design. Spring loaded rewind wheel struggles with fully extended power cord. What follows when the cord return breaks is that you have no plastic hooks to wind the cord around to get it out of the way for closet storage. Other than that, too soon to fully evaluate. Will continue to evaluate over the next few weeks.

When I purchased this vacuum,I didn't read far enough into description,I received vacuum, only to find out that the turbo attachment is not included in price, but can be purchased separately, for about $20.Add that to the refurbished cost, could have bought a brand new, never opened unit for that price.Vacuum does work properly,as it should,I especially like the auto rewind on power cord.

Picks up reasonably well on my Berber carpeting. Like others, I dislike the location of the ON/OFF switch. Apparently, putting it in the handle would raise the complexity/cost. Easy to empty, cord retracts nicely so far.For the cost of this refurbished upright, I am happy to no longer have to carry a vacuum up the stairs.
